NH 58 winding upward from Joshimath, on its way to Badrinath. Leading from Delhi to Mana above Badrinath, NH 58 is one of the lifelines of Garhwal. It follows the course of the Ganga from Haridwar to Devprayag, and thence that of the Alaknanda up to Mana.
